This Privacy Policy explains what personal data PixyLiv collects, how we use it, and your rights under applicable privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA). PixyLiv is an independent product operated by a global team.

1. Who we are

PixyLiv is a soft launch analytics and decision-support tool for independent mobile game studios. We are the data controller for personal data you provide when registering or using the platform. Contact: info@pixyliv.com

2. What data we collect

Account data

Name and email address (required for account creation)
Studio name and team size (provided during registration)
Password (stored as a bcrypt hash. we never store plaintext passwords)

Usage data

Game concept data you enter (title, genre, D1/D7 retention, CPI, hook CTR)
Decision Engine run history and verdicts
Weekly check-in replies and summaries
Friction Finder level data
Update evaluations and revenue forecasts

Technical data

IP address (logged on login and benchmark report download)
Browser and device type (from standard HTTP headers)
Session data (stored server-side, cookie reference only)

Benchmark report leads

If you download the free benchmark report, we store your email address and optional studio name in a CSV file on our server. This is used solely to send future reports and product updates. We do not sell this data.

3. Legal basis for processing

Service delivery — processing your account data to provide the service you registered for
Legitimate use — sending weekly check-in emails you have opted into, readiness alerts, and product improvements
Consent — sending benchmark report follow-up emails (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email)

4. How we use your data

To operate your account and provide the Decision Engine and all five tools
To send weekly check-in prompts and summaries (Monday 9am IST). can be disabled in My Account settings
To send launch readiness alerts when your metrics cross a threshold
To send the weekly digest to registered studios (can be unsubscribed)
To improve the benchmark accuracy of PixyBench using anonymised aggregated data from outcome submissions

We do not use your game data for advertising, do not sell it to third parties, and do not share it with other studios in identifiable form.

5. Data sharing

We share data with the following processors only:

Hosting provider — your data is stored on secure servers
Email delivery — transactional emails are sent via our configured SMTP provider
Anthropic — if the AI digest draft feature is used, anonymised search summaries are sent to the Anthropic API. No personal account data or game data is sent to Anthropic.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active
Game and run history data is retained indefinitely to power the Scoring Timeline. You can delete individual games from My Games
Weekly check-in records are retained for 12 months of history
If you delete your account, all personal data is deleted within 30 days

7. Your rights

Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
Correction — correct inaccurate data via My Account settings or by emailing us
Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data within 30 days
Data export — export your Decision Engine run history as CSV at any time from the dashboard
Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in each email

8. Cookies

PixyLiv uses one session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required because we use only strictly necessary cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We will notify registered users by email if we make material changes to this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
